As you all no doubt are aware, the 29th year project came to an end on November 1. My picture did not come out as well as I would have liked, and so I neglected posting it until now, as if somehow I would look again and it would miraculously change. But alas, it is still the same. Here, have a look. )

Lizzie!!! I held her almost all afternoon and evening, until my arm began to cramp. Ok, long after it began to cramp. Still hurts. She also spat up all over me. And I frickin loved it. One of the best days of my life. I love this kid. Also, I should be babysitting all 3 kids next weekend while Jenn & Add are dealing with their new house. Oh yeah. That rocks in all kinds of ways.

Friday lunch with Meghan and Karen, both of whom refused to be in my picture. Anyway, we had Ethiopian food, which I love, but I don't think they enjoyed it as much. Yummy, wet, spongey bread and lentils and various veggies things - I could eat this on a regular basis. Yay to a decent Ethiopian restaurant being so close to work!

Eating with your hands is fun! )

I went down to the Inner Harbor to catch a shot of the sunset, or at the very least, some Baptists (huge Baptists convention in town), but was disappointed with both, so I continued on to Fell's Point, where I sat near the water as the darkness grew tangible, listening to a poor man who was fishing in the icky waters, telling me how he doesn't drink, or smoke, or do drugs, and wished that women respected their bodies more. It was entertaining in a way.

So many colors! )

One of the many pieces of sculpture around the monument in Mt Vernon. This is my favorite, tho the boy with the turtle is cute too. I also like this one because it now reminds me of yoga. In fact, we might be doing this pose next week, minus the water and with clothing instead.
Do not try this at home. )

Yay to another round of picture posting. Boo to the stomachache that has been plaguing me since this afternoon and stripping me of any desire to take a picture today.

The penny I threw into the fountain the day before worked - the baby was a girl! Jenn delivered too late in the evening for us to go over, so we had to wait until this morning to see little Elizabeth.

A new person to torture with my 29th year project! )

Baby day! I was at Jenn's at 5:45 am, which unfortunately woke up Meritt, who had also woken up August by 6:30. A whole hour early. So much for getting to nap beforehand. We had a good day nonetheless. Stayed home and colored and played Memory until it was a decent hour and then we headed off to the aquarium for a few hours. On the walk back, Meritt saw a sign for yoga and asked me what that was, and as soon as we were home, instructed me to teach him some postures. Here they are at a park demonstrating The Tree and The Mountain. Rit Rit and Aoutie )

Thom seems to have 3 personalities - the cute, cuddly, purring one; the typical kitten one; and the psychotic, hyper nutcase who's all teeth and claws. Here's the latter personality. It may look like I'm choking her, but no, she's actually got her teeth around my thumb and all of her claws dug into my skin. Blurry, but you should get the point. )

The world didn't come to an end. And Jenn didn't give birth today, to a devil child or otherwise. So, in lieu of anything interesting, here's one of my childhood dolls that I just realized a few days earlier looked a lot creepier than I ever realized.666 )
